The gravel tour into the Verwall valley is short, crisp and a real scenic highlight. From St. Anton, you first roll relaxed to the Verwallsee lake - a turquoise-coloured haven of peace that looks almost kitschy. Then the route picks up, it gets steeper and the mountains get closer. From the turn-off to the Konstanzer Hütte, you can feel the metres in altitude, but the view becomes more impressive with every step. The Schönverwallhütte marks the end of the easy route - a perfect break with a panoramic view and a cool drink. You might hear or be watched by marmots along the way. On the way back, the Rosanna rushes beside you, the view of the Patteriol lingers in your mind. A tour for anyone who loves nature, tranquillity and a bit of a challenge - without pushing themselves to the limit.
