Around the Tyrolean Lech
This impressive gravel tour around the Tyrolean Lech leads over 141 kilometres through one of the most pristine river landscapes in the Alps. With an elevation gain of 1,260 metres and a riding time of over ten hours, it is not for beginners, but those in good physical condition will be rewarded with a real nature experience. The Lech accompanies large sections of the route with its turquoise blue water, wide gravel banks and the dramatic backdrop of the Lechtal Alps. Spectacular views of the wild course of the river open up early on in the tour. A stop for a swim at the Lechausee lake is particularly worthwhile - an idyllic natural jewel that invites you to linger. The meadow landscapes near Lechaschau also impress with their tranquillity and unspoilt nature. The tour can easily be divided into two or three stages, leaving enough time for nature, breaks and short detours. The start and finish point is the Bogner Hof - a cosy base with good food and a feel-good factor.
