Start in Castel San Gimignano in the direction of Gambassi Terme, with a loop around the Castelvecchio nature reserve. The route continues to Castelfiorentino and Barberino Val d'Elsa along typical white gravel roads and winding Tuscan byways. The return journey leads via Ulignano, with the impressive final climb up to San Gimignano.
