Passo Furcia round
The Passo Furcia tour is a challenging gravel tour that leads through one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in South Tyrol. From gentle alpine meadows to steep climbs, it offers varied terrain that requires strength and endurance.
Right at the start, the route plunges into a tranquil alpine landscape with spectacular views of the Puster Valley. The ascent to the Maria Saalen pilgrimage church provides the first challenging section before the view opens up to the wide valley with the imposing Michelsburg Castle. As the altitude increases, the tour becomes more challenging, but the summit of Kronplatz rewards you with a unique 360-degree view as far as the main Alpine ridge. After the impressive Concordia 2000 peace bell, the route finally leads down to Passo Furcia, where the landscape changes abruptly. The descent back down into the valley is the perfect end to a tour that is a real experience in terms of both sport and scenery.
