Passo Cinque Croci
This challenging gravel tour takes you over 128 kilometres and 3,190 metres in altitude through the unspoilt mountains of Trentino. The starting point is the Brenta River near Borgo Valsugana, where historic alleyways and the course of the river invite you to linger. The ascent over the Forcella Pass and on to Passo Brocon offers sweeping views and tranquil nature. At the Passo Cinque Croci, the mighty Cima d'Asta dominates the scene before descending 1,600 metres into the valley. A culinary stop at the Rifugio Crucolo with regional specialities rounds off the experience. This tour requires a very good level of fitness, but rewards you with impressive landscapes and unspoilt Alpine scenery. Ideally, the tour should be split into two or three daily stages in order to fully experience nature, culture and enjoyment.
