Lech and Zug to Formarinsee Gravel Tour
On this challenging 66.4-kilometre gravel bike tour, you will climb around 1,770 metres in altitude. From Lech, you will first ride comfortably on asphalt up to the Widdersteinmähder European nature reserve before rolling down a long descent to Schröcken. Steep switchbacks then lead up to a plateau with spectacular views before you reach Lech again. If you continue, you will climb steadily via Zug to the shimmering emerald green Formarinsee lake below the Rote Wand – definitely worth a detour. The route then continues to the Spullersee dam before taking you via the Stierlochalpe and the Alpweg back to Zug and finally to Lech. This tour is ideal for experienced gravel bikers looking for long climbs and impressive high mountain landscapes.
