Laternsertal Gravel Tour
On this challenging 65.7-kilometre gravel bike tour, you will climb 2,380 metres in altitude. From Rankweil, the route first leads steadily uphill into the Laterns Valley, where magnificent views await you at over 1,300 metres above sea level. The route continues along scenic forest paths across the alpine pasture until the panorama of the ‘Männle’ opens up. A fast descent with views of the Rhine Valley leads into the next steep climb, whose challenging terrain occasionally requires you to push your bike. Via Fraxern, you finally return to Rankweil. The tour is ideal for experienced gravel bikers who appreciate technical passages, lots of altitude difference and magnificent mountain landscapes.
