Greinwalden - Terenten - Vintl - Runggen - Sonnenburg
The tour is just right for rolling in and getting your bearings. The route leads steadily uphill across the Pfalzner Sonnen-Plateau to Terenten. Sometimes on cycle paths, sometimes on meadow paths and roads with little traffic and always a beautiful view of the Dolomites. The descent from Terenten to Vintl has many beautiful bends and you can really take it easy. Then you cycle along the Pustertal cycle path, field paths and the Ehrenburger Kreuzweg to the old Roman village of St. Lorenzen and via the Sonnenburgköpfel and the Archeologenweg to Stegen. The circular route then comes to an end and you cycle back to the Hotel Innerhofer or Gisse Zwölf in Gais via meadow paths and cycle paths.
