Church tower around Lake Reschen
The challenging circular tour around Lake Reschen starts in Nauders and leads along the east bank cycle path with its first impressive views. The famous church tower of Alt-Graun, the landmark of the lake, rises mysteriously out of the water and invites you to take a short photo stop. The trail continues to the dam, from where a breathtaking view of the Ortler opens up on a clear day. After a challenging section with steep climbs, you reach the Rescher Alm at 2,000 metres, where a well-earned break with South Tyrolean specialities awaits. This is followed by a challenging descent back to the lake, past further vantage points with views of the deep blue water.
