Čez Jelovico v Bohinj
A longer tour begins with a descent to the Sava. We cycle over the Riben bridge. Keep right and ride uphill on forest roads for a good 15 km, the road is gravelled, uphill to an altitude of approx. 1300 m, followed by a straight descent along the forest gravel road and the asphalt road through the village of German Rovt to Bohinjska Bistrica. Turn right past the railway station on the right bank of the Sava. The path leads us across pastures to the Grmečica waterfall. You will have to carry your bike for a short distance. From the waterfall, continue in the direction of Bohinjska Bela and past the firing range of the Slovenian army, the village of Selo, back to the hotel.
