Čemšenik and Vrhe
Our cycle tour starts south of the Grof Hotel and takes us along the Bolska River on a quiet side road (Žalec 01). Near the Ranch Islander, we turn right and follow a gravel road towards Tabor. As soon as you reach St George's Church, take the right fork to Loke. Once there, keep right at the chapel and continue towards Črni vrh.
From here, the path begins to gradually ascend. At the junction for Črni vrh, continue straight on towards Krvavica. The gravel road eventually leads to the Presedle Pass and the National Liberation Monument at the foot of Čemšeniška. We continue our route below the northern slopes of Čemšeniška planina and head south-west towards Zaplanina and the Prvine ski resort.
At a junction with the paths to Limovce and Brezje, keep left and continue towards Brezje and Dobrljevo. Once there, continue straight on through Čemšenik, Zaloka and Jesenovo. Via Križe and Drenovec, we finally climb up to the Vrhe mountain hut. From here, we begin a leisurely descent towards Klinčkovo and back to the Grof Hotel. The last stage follows a gravel road to Loke, where we turn right towards Tabor and return to the starting point of our tour via the same route.
