3000-metre peaks to Lake Constance
On this challenging 282-kilometre gravel bike tour, you will cover 6,820 metres of elevation gain. From Bregenz on Lake Constance, the route takes you through the Laiblach Valley to the Bregenz Forest, where you can enjoy impressive views on the former railway line of the ‘Wälderbähnle’ and across the high plateau at Kanisfluh. After the descent to Au, the longest climb of the tour follows via Auenfeld towards Saloberkopf and on via Warth and the Arlberg Pass into the Verwall Valley. You then roll through the Montafon before climbing via Schnifis and Düns into the Laterns Valley. A scenic descent takes you back to the Rhine Valley, followed by a relaxed ride along the shores of Lake Constance to Bregenz. This tour is ideal for very experienced gravel bikers who love long distances, lots of altitude and varied landscapes.
