When a hotel owner spent his youth in local cycling, gravel riders are in the best of hands as well: Wolfgang Obermüller knows the gravel tracks, forest roads and quiet back routes of the Bavarian Forest — including the Sauwald and the Mühlviertel — like the back of his hand. And even though he now prefers motorized two-wheelers and has been riding his motorcycle through the region for more than 25 years, his heart still beats for cycling beyond the asphalt.
