Scossicci gravel
The "Gravel Scossicci" gravel tour requires a very good level of fitness and leads over a varied route. The circular route starts near the coast and runs along the Potenza river, whose torrential current runs through the province of Macerata. After a section at the Beach Gallery, the Conero cycle route begins and stretches as far as Loreto railway station. There, the route leads onto a quieter cycle path along the railway line, ideal for avoiding the traffic. A highlight is the gravel section near Scossicci, a flat passage surrounded by unspoilt nature. The varied route combines coastal flair, gravel paths and green sections and ends after 42.6 kilometres back at the starting point.
