View of the Marecchia round

The Marecchia loop is a challenging gravel tour of 66.1 km and 180 metres in altitude that requires a good level of fitness. It leads through the picturesque Marecchia Valley and offers impressive nature experiences along the river of the same name.

The first highlight is Santarcangelo di Romagna, a charming little town with cosy cafés that is perfect for a break. The route continues to a viewpoint with spectacular views of the Marecchia Valley before turning into the impressive Canyon del Marecchia gorge. Along the Alta Via del Parchi, the tour follows a well-maintained white gravel road with panoramic views of the river.

The route follows the Marecchia cycle path, a natural path that winds through the valley and reaches as far as Rimini. After crossing the Pathfinder Bridge, another scenic highlight, the route leads back to the starting point.
