Stogersattel round
The Stoggersattel tour is a compact but challenging gravel bike tour with 39.5 kilometres and 1,010 metres of elevation gain. Despite the relatively short distance, the undulating profile demands a high level of fitness. After the start, the route leads along a steep but manageable forest path to the church near Au - perfect for a short break. The route then continues along quiet paths to Schnepfau and on to the Schnepfegg pass, which offers a magnificent view of the Kanisfluh. From here, a beautiful valley opens up with the opportunity to stop for refreshments at the Almisguntenalpe. The absolute highlight of the tour is Schönenbach, one of the most beautiful mountain pasture settlements in the Bregenzerwald. If you want to fortify yourself, you should try the legendary Kässpätzle at the Jagdgasthaus Egender. Afterwards, the ascent to the Stoggersattel begins, which offers a magnificent view of the western mountains. Finally, a fast, flowing descent with a fantastic view of Au Rehmen awaits.
